New Year's Eve is fast approaching and even though you may still be holiday shopping, now is the best time to start making plans for the last night of the year.

This year, Celebration Square in Mississauga will be hosting a party for both kids and adults! Starting at 8pm kids of all ages can head out to Celebration Square to party with friends and family. This special NYE junior will feature a dancefloor, interactive lighting, children's entertainers, and a countdown to the new year at 9pm.

Adults can enjoy performances by Wolf Saga, Kiki Rowe, Honors, and Shaun Frank with Delaney Jane starting at 9pm! Skate at celebration square's ice rink or dance with loved ones and friends, refuel at one of the food trucks surrounding the Square, then enjoy an impressive firework display at midnight!

Other Mississauga events include: The Salsa Club 2018 New Years Party, Lionheart British Pub New Year's Eve Party, and the family friendly New Year Gala at the Versailles Convention Centre. Purchase your tickets for these events soon to avoid disappointment!

Nathan Phillips Square is host to the 33rd annual New Year's Eve party in the heart of Downtown Toronto. Commemorate the end of our year-long celebration of Canada's 150th birthday with a free all ages event featuring live performances, free ice skating, entertaining DJs, site animations, food trucks, and much more! Top off the evening with a spectacular firework display at midnight.

Other Toronto events include: Mysteriously Yours' 31st Annual New Year's Eve Gala, the ROM New Year's Eve party, and Back in the Day 90's New Years Eve party at Revival Nightclub.

Kids will enjoy free skating at the Harbourfront Centre and girls ages 5 and up can attend Glama Gal Tween Spa's Happy Noon Year's Eve Party for Kids featuring confetti manicures, glitter hair and make-up, a Pink Balloon drop, and dance party!

Remember to ride safe! Mississauga's MiWay offers free holiday service from 7pm Dec 31st to 4am January 1st and Toronto's TTC service is free from 7pm New Year's Eve to 7am New Year's Day.
