Want to face your fears or enjoy the rush of adrenaline? The GTA offers lots of options for high-octane activities and we encourage you to try these ones out!
Are you looking to push your personal limits? Head up 1,168ft above the ground and walk around the rooftop of the CN Tower with nothing but a harness, air, and a 5 foot ledge between you and the ground. A 'must-do' for thrill seekers!
While you're getting your thrill-on, your friends and family can enjoy their own in the CN Tower's Lookout Level by standing over the city on the 256 square foot, solid glass floor.
If the CN Tower isn't high enough for you, you should try skydiving! Head out to the Cookstown Airport for a Tandem Skydive. Jump out of the aircraft at 13,000 feet ASL where you will experience a 30-45 second freefall at speeds up to 120mph!
Treetop Trekking at Brampton Park
Get ready for a 3-hour active nature adventure! Explore a series of obstacle courses from ground-up, to the trees. Each course is made up of Tarzan swings, balance logs, bridges, and of course, zip lines! This one-of-a-kind adventure can be even more unique by adding the 'Big Zip', known as the Blue Heron ride. Tandem Hang Gliding Discover Flights
If you want adventure, but at a slower pace, try Hang Gliding at High Perspective Inc. in Vaughan. For tentative adventurers, this is more relaxing than you would guess. This is not an extreme sport, but offers an extreme experience.
The Rock Oasis Inc. in Toronto offers indoor rock climbing adventures for all ages. Take a beginner lesson and after 1 to 2 hours of instruction and hands-on training, spend the rest of your day climbing for fun.
