Located in the heart of Mississauga, Cooksville is a friendly neighbourhood filled with excellent shopping, beautiful green spaces, great schools, and convenient transportation services.

If you're new to the area or are considering making Cooksville your new home, Compten Management has some great tips on how you can navigate your new neighbourhood and explore all it has to offer.

The Great Outdoors

One of the true gems of Cooksville is its parks and nature trails. The new Brick Yard Park features several sports fields, two playgrounds, a splash pad, parking lots at either side of the park, and plenty of green space to enjoy. Nature trails in the neighbourhood include Cooksville Creek Trail that stretches from Richard Jones Park near Kirwin Avenue to Cooksville Park near King Street East, and Queensway Trail that runs across the neighbourhood parallel to The Queensway East.

Unbeatable Amenities

The nearby Huron Park Recreation Centre offers some of the best facilities in Mississauga, and is the perfect place for swimming lessons, fitness programs, and skating. Cooksville also happens to be the home of the Mississauga Hospital, one of the largest health centres in the area.

With Cooksville's convenient location, shopping in town is only a short drive away. There are several plazas and large retailers such as Canadian Tire, Home Depot, and The Real Canadian Superstore in the neighbourhood, but a short drive will get you to Square One Shopping Centre and the unique shops throughout Port Credit.

Delicious Dining

Some of the best food you'll find in Mississauga is right here in Cooksville! The cuisine here is as diverse as the population. Our favourite restaurants include BarBQ Tonite serving various meats cooked to perfection, Wow Korean Restaurant serving tasty Korean dishes, and Bar4U which has scrumptious European cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Easy Travel

Another great feature of this neighbourhood is its excellent transit! Cooksville is home to a major GO Train station in Mississauga, allowing commuters easy travel downtown and throughout the city. There are several bus stops within a few steps of our Royal Tower and Embassy Apartments. Highway access nearby includes Hurontario Street and the QEW.
