March is here which means it’s maple season. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you visit the Maple Magic Festival in Mississauga.

Mississauga’s Bradley Museum hosts the Maple Magic Festival each year. Starting on March 11th visitors are encouraged to come to Bradley Museum to take part in a wide variety of maple themed activities. Maple Magic is open noon until 4pm March 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th. Advance tickets are available now, or purchase tickets at the door. Children 3 and under are free.

The Maple Magic festival hosts a gift shop, outdoor guided tours, crafts, games, and more. Families will love the Great Maple Syrup Slurp Up puppet show at 12:30pm, 2pm, and 3pm each day. This story will entertain all with its suspense and excitement.

This year, on March 11th and 12th only, visitors will get the chance to learn about Indigenous maple sugaring traditions. Enjoy firsthand storytelling from Elder Mark Sault of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. He’ll also demonstrate the Anishinaabe teachings of the maple harvest over an outdoor firepit. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Indigenous maple traditions.

For those visitors who enjoy scavenger hunts, from now until April 7th, you can use the GooseChase app to explore the Bradley Museum with the game code 1GLB9J. Enjoy sweet maple facts and 10 missions in a self-led scavenger hunt.
